​Greetings Hampton Elementary School Families,

Here are your updates as we begin the week:

HES Student Drop off and Pick Up Safety Reminder– A safety reminder for families that pets are best kept at home during student drop off and pick up. Last week one of our students sustained a major injury when a dog jumped up and caused him to fall on the curb of the sidewalk. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a safe pick up and drop off for all, by keeping pets at home.

HES Evacuation Practice– We will be practicing our whole school evacuation this Wednesday, Oct.25th @ 11am. Our primary evacuation site is the Hampton Middle School theatre and gym.

HES Home and School Fundraiser – Our Home and School has partnered with Hampton Pizza Delight for our first fundraiser of the year! We are kicking off our new school year with a fundraiser that we all enjoy…PIZZA!

HES Home & School is teaming up with Pizza Delight to offer families the perfect treat:

1 – 15”, 3-topping pizza

1 – 12” Garlic Cheese Fingers

All yours for $22.00 (taxes included)!

Each prepaid certificate entitles you to your favourite 3-topping pizza and garlic fingers. **Certificates are valid only at the Hampton Pizza Delight.**

$5.00 from each certificate goes to the HES Home & School as we continue to support our teaching staff, our students, and raise funds to upgrade our playgrounds.

Order forms are due back to the school by October 26, 2023, with certificate delivery by November 3rd.

HES PSSC Meeting– The first PSSC meeting takes place on Monday, Oct.23rd at 6:30pm in the library.

HES Round 1 Clubs – This week we kick off our first round of clubs at HES! Students completed their sign ups at the end of last week. This round will take us until the Christmas break.

HES Student Picture Orders – A reminder to families that retakes are scheduled for Nov.1st.

Oct. 31st Black and Orange Day at HES – A note for families that students are invited to wear orange and black items on Halloween, Tuesday, Oct.31st.

Professional Learning Day Friday Nov.3rd – Friday Nov.3rd there are no classes for students as it is a professional learning day for all staff.
